Appreciate the unity the Lager is showing. When we fuck up and have bad sims, we do it together.

3-3 week for the Bats. We lost 2/3 to Baltimore to finish our long homestand, but bounced back by winning a series in Seattle. We rarely win there, so that's a good way to end the week. We're 12-6 and a half game behind the Bulldogs in the Stout. We're off to a much better start than we had last season.

Standout performer for this week was probably pitcher Dusty Borchers. I've been a bit disappointed by the former first round pick, but he had a good. I gave him a start against Baltimore and he threw a 4-hit shutout. He then returned to the bullpen for a couple scoreless appearances in Seattle. He'll continue to bounce between the rotation and bullpen as we go through this season, but he's off to a great start - 18 innings without allowing a run.

We now will get 3 pitchers off the DL - Pieter Van Westen, BJ Johnson and Tom Wood. That should be a nice boost for us, since the bullpen has been our biggest problem so far. Three quality arms will change the roles significantly.

3-3 week for Seattle. We won 2/3 at Denver, including the first matchup between "Freeze" and "The Artist," but lost 2/3 hosting Washington. Despite the high rank, our rotation has been pretty inconsistent outside of old man Teel.

We had two more significant injuries: RF Hidekazu Mizoghuch is out 3+ weeks and SP/RP Joey Maurer is out a week+. That's now our 5th player out of the initial 25-man roster to be on the DL at the moment. The length of injuries in totality, 12 months, 3 months, 1 month, four weeks and two weeks, I think is already more than I had injured during the entire 2029 season. Hopefully the adversity makes us a better team come playoff time but I doubt it.

I'm calling up RP Tom "Crime Dog" McGuffin, Pat Reeves and 1B Dave Hodge. McGuffin makes his BLB debut as a 22-year-old who hits 98 MPH on the gun and has extreme groundball tendencies. Reeves, also a flamethrower, has always shown elite stuff but struggles to find the plate. Hodge was hitting .500/.1.348 in 11 Double-A games. We are 11-7 with a 1.5 lead in the Bock but still trying to find the best roster.
