Amato Albors of Dallas and Orrin Brudenell of Maine were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. They will both miss 6 games because of their fight. League officials announced their suspensions today.

 | Friday, March 22nd, 1985: Snappers Lose Samarano
After injuring himself, Snappers left fielder Vittorio Samarano headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Samarano will miss at least 2 weeks with patellar tendinitis.

 | Saturday, December 22nd, 1984: Deal: Sato for Rodríguez
The Dallas Snappers have finalized a deal with the Pittsburgh Millers for the services of 19-year old minor league third baseman Ángelo Rodríguez. In exchange, the Millers will receive 34-year old reliever Tsunayoshi Sato, a 5th round draft pick and $4,500,000 in cash.
In his career Sato has made 410 relief appearances and converted 155 saves. His record stands at 29-and-39 with a 3.08 ERA.
