Sunday, April 14th, 1985: Hit Streak Over, T-Bones Stop Hanson
Frederick right fielder Pete Hanson experienced something against the Kansas City T-Bones he hadn't experienced in his last 26 games: a hitless game. The T-Bones pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Stars to a 3-2 victory at Nightmares Ballpark.

"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 26-game hitting streak. Now you sportswriters will have to find someone else to bother for stories," Hanson kiddingly told them after the game.

This season Hanson has no home runs and a .364 batting average.
