John Gorrie of the Wilmington Wildcats put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the Import League Player of the Week. The hot-hitting center fielder was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 home runs, .448 BA, 11 RBIs, 5 runs, no walks and a .448 OBP.
This season Gorrie is batting .271 with 22 home runs and 88 RBIs. In 141 games he has scored 96 times.
