 | Saturday, September 1st, 1984: Rookie of the Month Winner Announced
It was an excellent month for Pete Miller. He really swung into action! The catcher for the Indianapolis Clowns was named August's best newcomer in the Domestic League.
He captured the honor by hitting .298 with 34 hits, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
Miller is hitting .303 in 1984. He has added 38 RBIs and 4 home runs and has gotten on base at a .354 rate. | |
