 | Monday, August 27th, 1984: Gil O'Moore Will Miss 2-3 Weeks
A blow for Gil O'Moore today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 2-3 weeks with a tender shoulder. O'Moore suffered the injury throwing the ball. Although officials from the Maine Guides are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about O'Moore's ability to return fully fit this year with an injury of this nature.
Over the season O'Moore has thrown 161.1 innings and dished out 178 strikeouts with a 14-2 mark and a 1.56 ERA. | |
