 | Sunday, August 26th, 1984: Elliott Out 2 Weeks with Injury
Harry Elliott of the Davenport Brawlers was injured in today's game against Wilmington and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a sprained ankle and he is expected to be out up to 2 weeks. It happened while Elliott was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
This year Elliott is hitting at a .324 pace with 7 home runs and 40 RBIs. He has played in 111 games and scored 73 times. | |
