Philadelphia reliever Gaspar Rodriguez has an undisclosed injury, which he suffered while cutting a brownie out of a pan. He's expected to be out for 3-4 weeks.
Thus far in 1984, Rodriguez has compiled a 0-1 record, made 18 games with no saves, hurling 22.1 innings and striking out 6. He has held the opposition to a .237 batting average with a 2.82 ERA. | |
