 | Sunday, August 5th, 1984: Hyundai Shortstop Hurt
The Hyundai Dinos will have to "make do" without Tim Moher for 3 weeks. He suffered a damaged meniscus (knee) while running the bases in the game today against the Denver Bulls. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a real blow," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We know how to deal with adversity." Moher will miss 3 weeks.
This season Moher is hitting .275 with 102 hits, 11 home runs, 37 RBIs, 56 walks, .373 OBP and has scored 55 runs. He has played in 93 games. | |
