 | Monday, July 23rd, 1984: Storm-Patriots Trade: for Puerias
The Mississippi Storm have parted ways with a 3rd round draft pick, sending him to the Pawtucket Patriots for 28-year old starting pitcher Manuel Puerias. The Storm general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
This year in 22 starts, Puerias has recorded 6 wins and absorbed 11 losses. He has pitched 142.1 innings, allowed 144 hits, struck out 76 and has a 4.62 ERA.
