 | Monday, July 23rd, 1984: Colonials and Bulldogs Agree to Swap
A trade between the Virginia Colonials and the Baltimore Bulldogs was made official this morning. The Virginia Colonials have sent 34-year old starting pitcher Issam Ghaniy and 24-year old right fielder Eddie Just to the Baltimore Bulldogs in exchange for 32-year old reliever Joe Negron.
In the current season in 13 starts, Issam Ghaniy has a record of 4-6 with 42 strikeouts in 80 innings and a 4.50 ERA.
In 1984 Negron has 3 saves, tossed 62.1 innings, fanned 74 batters and produced an ERA of 5.05. He has also been credited with 2 wins and 2 losses.
