Saturday, July 31st, 1982: Wilmington Wildcats and Bulldogs Agree to Trade
A trade between the Wilmington Wildcats and the Baltimore Bulldogs was made official this morning. The Wilmington Wildcats have sent 26-year old starting pitcher Bill Faircloth, 25-year old minor league starting pitcher Dylan Lillie and 24-year old minor league reliever Jason Queiroz to the Baltimore Bulldogs in exchange for 40-year old starting pitcher Walter Lacour, 31-year old shortstop Amato Albors and $7,776,634 in cash.

Checking out his stats for the season, Faircloth has racked up 2 wins and 2 losses in 5 starts, 2.97 ERA and struck out 36 batters in 39.1 innings.

In the 1982 campaign Albors has hit at a .287 clip with 35 RBIs, 5 home runs and 36 runs scored.
